Bayer MaterialScience will present its EcoCommercial Building Program at BAU 2013 at Stand 5 in Hall B0. The unique staging of the stand as a whole is the work of a drawing artist sketching modern building designs and detailed views of innovative building materials in real time on the back wall of the stand.

Munich, October 2012 – Bayer MaterialScience will present the comprehensive service portfolio of its EcoCommercial Building Program (ECB) to BAU 2013 visitors at Stand 5, Hall B0. The interdisciplinary and international network of experts provides expertise, material solutions and services focused on sustainable industrial, commercial and residential construction.

With some 20 partners throughout Europe, it offers public and commercial developers and planners valuable support with both the construction of sustainable buildings and the renovation of existing buildings for greater energy efficiency. The interdisciplinary approach makes possible cross-trade solutions that combine optimal energy and resource efficiency with sociocultural needs and high profitability.

“From Sketch to Construction” is the motto of the company’s trade show presence, a visual presentation of the EcoCommercial Building Program’s core competence. The most important step along the road to an all-around sustainable building is detailed and interdisciplinary advance planning. Visitors are therefore being received at light tables like the ones used by architectural offices to visualize detail and planning sketches. At BAU 2013, they are used as a light source and information platform for the dialogue with the ECB experts.

The unique staging of the stand as a whole is the work of a drawing artist sketching modern building designs and detailed views of innovative building materials in real time on the back wall of the stand. The live illustrator is thus constantly changing the stand’s appearance, creating a dynamic presence.

Supplementing the trade show stand is a microsite that provides information about the broad range of services offered by the ECB Program. It shows a visualized house analogous to a blueprint. Marked points are used to navigate to specific areas of the building and call up detailed information about the material solutions provided by ECB network partners. Markings on the stand show visitors how to get to the network partners’ stands.

The EcoCommercial Program is an integral part of Bayer´s global sustainability program.
